Seit Dienstag (25. Oktober) ist für die PC-Version von Assetto Corsa ein neues Update verfügbar. Mit der neuen Version werden die Grundlagen für das erste Porsche Pack geschaffen, welches gleichzeitig erschienen ist.

Neben 7 Fahrzeugen, die in dem DLC enthalten sind, gibt es einen weiteren Porsche aber auch als Bonus kostenlos zum Update. Es ist der brandneue und erst kürzlich enthüllte Porsche Panamera G2 Turbo.  Bei den kostenpflichtigen Fahrzeugen handelt es sich um folgende:

  • Porsche 991 Carrera S
  • Porsche 918 Spyder
  • Porsche 718 Cayman S
  • Porsche 917/30 CanAm 1973
  • Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 1974
  • Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport

In der Aktualisierung gibt allerdings auch noch weitere nennenswerte Aspekte. So gibt es durch die Aktualisierung der FMod-Bibliotheken eine Verbesserung der Sound-Engine. Die veränderten FMod Interaktionen optimieren allerdings auch die Speicher- und CPU-Nutzung des Rennspiels.

Dann gibt es noch eine zusätzliche historische Version von Silverstone. Dabei handelt es sich um das Streckenlayout aus den 60er-Jahren. Dieser Zusatzinhalt ist nicht kostenpflichtig, sondern Umfang des kostenfreien Updates.

Zuletzt sind in vielen weiteren Bereichen des Rennspiels Optimierungen vorgenommen worden, die speziell auf dem Feedback der Spieler beruhen. Alle Änderungen könnten dem gleich folgendem Changelog entnommen werden.

 

Bitte beachtet, dass es sich hierbei nur um eine Aktualisierung für die PC-Version handelt. Ein neues Update für die Konsolenversionen sollen im November folgen!
